Ghost Town, my newest short story, is published!

My newest publication, ‘Ghost Town’ is an adventure story, published in the newest Writing Journey Anthology called JOURNEY TO ADVENTURE – A Writing Journey Anthology.

The story collection in this anthology is all about adventure, quests, and thrilling expeditions offering a great variaty of genres and diverse tales.

‘Ghost Town’ features two characters from a middle grade series, ‘Panther’s Head’, that I am working on. In this story, two girls enjoy a summer camp in the Colorado Mountains.One afternoon, the campers visit a ghost town, and the two girls stumble over a secret.

Trying out AI generating software

AI is on everyone’s lips these days, and as controversial as it is, I guess it’s here to stay. So, I want to figure out how it works.
I already know that AI can be helpful with my writing process, help me edit and critique my texts, or help me find the right words for the right situation.

It can also be helpful and support the creative process when used with a bit of caution.
I participated in a workshop the other day, offered by Nucly Akademy (my favorite Photoshop Learning place – www.nucly.com). During the workshop, we created a monumental text with the help of AI.

My newest project – “The Wordslingers” Magazine

In Spring 2023 one of my colleagues, Matthew, challenged me to write a flash fiction piece.
I had never written flash fiction before. I’m a novel writer. Even the short stories I write challenge me to stay within the usual 3,000-word limit. Now, flash fiction is even more limited, to 500 to 1500 words. I took the challenge just to prove to myself that I could do it.

New! My fourth Short Story Published!

I am happy to announce, that my fourth short story is published. The Family Tree is a story for the Hidden Identity Anthology and now published in a brand new book. 40 stories and poems written during the challenging year of 2020 by authors belonging to the Writing Journey are compiled in “Masks, Facades, and Reveals.”
And this time I am not only an author, but I also contributed two illustrations.
